My Documents and Community Documents Portlets

The My Documents portlet (for My Pages) and the Community Documents portlet (for community pages) display documents in selected projects (listed in the My Projects or Community Projects portlet). Project members can upload files to a project to make them available in these portlets and Project Documents for viewing and editing by other project members. Project members with the appropriate permissions can also check out documents, edit them, and check them back in. The version history of the document is saved in the project.

The portlets display the following information about each document:

Column	Description
Document	The document file name.
Project	The name of the project that stores the document.
Date Checked In	The date the document was originally uploaded or was last checked in.
Checked In By	The user that originally uploaded or last checked in the document.

You can perform the following actions in the portlets:

To add a project to your My Projects portlet or to browse available projects, click Choose Projects. This displays Project Explorer.
To change what you see in the portlets, make selections in the drop-down lists and click Update:
- By default, the portlets display the documents for all selected projects (All Projects). To display only those documents for a particular project, select the name of the project.
- By default, the portlets display the ten most recently uploaded or updated documents (10). To display a different number of documents, select the desired number.
To view the details of a document, click . This displays Document Details.
To open the document, click its name.
To view the project associated with a document, click the project name. This displays Project Documents.
