My Tasks and Community Tasks Portlets

The My Tasks portlet (for My Pages) and the Community Tasks portlet (for community pages) display the tasks or task lists for selected projects (listed in the My Projects or Community Projects portlet). To learn more about tasks, refer to About Tasks.

The portlets can display a list of tasks or task lists.

If the portlet is displaying tasks, it displays the following information about each task:

Column	Description
Task	The name of the task.
Project	The name of the project to which the task belongs.
Assigned To	The users to which the task is assigned.
Status	The percent complete. The status icons indicate the risk level of the task: indicates no risk. indicates moderate risk. indicates high risk.
End Date	The date when the task is scheduled to be complete.

If the portlet is displaying task lists, it displays the following information about each task list:

Column	Description
Task List	The name of the task list.
Project	The name of the project to which the task list belongs.
Status	The percent complete. The status icons indicate the risk level of the task with the highest risk level: indicates no risk. indicates moderate risk. indicates high risk.
Start Date	The earliest start date of the tasks in the list.
End Date	The latest end date of the tasks in the list.

You can perform the following actions in the portlets:

To add a project to your My Projects portlet or to browse available projects, click Choose Projects. This displays Project Explorer.
To change what you see in the portlets, make selections in the drop-down lists and click Update:
- By default, the portlets display tasks (Tasks). To display task lists, select Task Lists.
- By default, the portlets display the tasks or task lists for all selected projects (All Projects). To display only those tasks or task lists for a particular project, select the name of the project.
- By default, the portlets display the ten most recently created or updated tasks or task lists (10). To display a different number of tasks or task lists, select the desired number.
To view the details of a task or task list, click its name. This displays Task Details or Task List Details.
To view the project associated with a discussion or message, click the project name. This displays Project Discussions.
