My Calendar and Community Calendar Portlets

The My Calendar portlet (for My Pages) and the Community Calendar portlet (for community pages) display the events, milestones, and tasks for selected projects (listed in the My Projects or Community Projects portlet).

The portlets display the following information about each calendar item:

Column	Description
Item	The name of the item. The calendar item icons indicate the nature of the item: indicates a task, which is an activity to be completed. indicates a milestone, which is a single date of an important occurrence or turning point related to a project. indicates an event, which can be such things as company meetings, holidays, and other happenings that are of interest to project users and might impact work on a project. indicates a recurring event, which can recur daily, weekly, or biweekly.
Project	The name of the project to which the calendar item belongs.
Date	The date and, if supplied, the time when the event or milestone occurs or when the task is due.

You can perform the following actions in the portlets:

To add a project to your My Projects portlet or to browse available projects, click Choose Projects. This displays Project Explorer.
To change what you see in the portlets, make selections in the drop-down lists and click Update:
- Project drop-down list: By default, the portlets display calendar items for all selected projects (All Projects). To display only those items for a particular project, select the name of the project.
- Item type drop-down list: By default, the portlets display all types of calendar items (All Calendar Items). To display only those items of a particular type, select Events, Tasks, or Milestones.
- Month and Year drop-down lists: By default, the portlets display the calendar items for the current month and year. To display calendar items for a different month or year, select the desired month or year.
To view the details of a calendar item, click its name. This displays Event Details or Task Details.
To view the project associated with a calendar item, click the project name. This displays Project Calendar.
