Project Calendar
You can track and create project events in the calendar.

The calendar displays the following information about each calendar item:

The name of the item. The calendar item icons indicate the nature of the item:

indicates a task, which is an activity to be completed.
indicates a milestone, which is a single date of an important occurrence or turning point related to a project.
indicates an event, which can be such things as company meetings, holidays, and other happenings that are of interest to project users and might impact work on a project.
indicates a recurring event, which can recur daily, weekly, or biweekly.

The date and, if supplied, the time when the event or milestone occurs or when the task is due. |
Depending on your permissions, you can perform the following actions in the calendar:

To create a new event,
click New Event
and complete the New Event
page.

To view the details of a calendar item, click its name. This displays Event Details or Task Details.
- To edit the properties of an existing event or task, click
its name; then, on the details page, click Edit and complete the Edit Event page or the Edit Tasks page.
- To change what you see in the calendar, make selections in the drop-down lists and click Update:
- View drop-down list: By default, the calendar displays all types of calendar items (All Calendar Items). To display only those items of a particular type, select Events, Tasks, or Milestones.
- Month and Year drop-down lists: By default, the calendar displays the items for the current month and year. To display items for a different month or year, select the desired month or year.

Event Details
Event Details displays the following information about the event:
Depending on your permissions, you can perform the following actions in Event Details:
- To change the name, description, start date, due date, recurrence, or location of the event, click Edit. This displays the Edit Event page.
- To permanently remove this event from the calendar, click Delete.
- To return to Project Calendar, in the calendar path, click Calendar.
