The Tagging Engine Search portlet allows you to type in a search query using Tagging Engine Search Syntax. Click Submit to execute your search. Click Clear to clear the current search string.
Search results are displayed in the Tagging Engine Results portlet. For more information on the Tagging Engine Results portlet, see Tagging Engine Results Portlet.
If the Tagging Engine Tag Cloud portlet is present on the same page as the Tagging Engine Search portlet, it displays tags that have been applied to items and people in your search results. For more information on the Tagging Engine Tag Cloud portlet, see Tagging Engine Tag Cloud Portlet.
When you click a tag in the Tagging Engine Tag Cloud portlet or Tagging Engine Results portlet, the Tagging Engine Search portlet is updated with a tag match appended to the existing search string. This new search is executed and the results in the Tagging Engine Results portlet are updated accordingly.
