You can monitor the status of the Search Service and reconcile data between the Oracle WebCenter Collaboration database and the Search Service index.

Rebuilding the Search Collection

Rebuilding reconciles data between the Oracle WebCenter Collaboration database and Search Service index. Since this is a lengthy and computationally expensive process, use the rebuild operation only when absolutely necessary.
To rebuild the Search Service database, click

Rebuild Search Collection.

Viewing the Status Information

Click Finish after you are done viewing the following:

Status	Description
Uptime	The length of time the Search Service has been running continuously.
Installation Directory	The location where the Search Service is installed.
Objects Currently Indexed	The number of Oracle WebCenter Collaboration items in the Search Service index.
Pending Indexing Requests	The number of requests outstanding for indexing Oracle WebCenter Collaboration objects.
