Edit Task List

To learn about tasks, refer to About Tasks.

To create or edit a task list:

  1. In the Name text box, type no more than 100 characters to name the task list.
  2. In the Description text box, you can optionally type no more than 1,000 characters to describe the task list. The description appears in Task List Details.
  3. Specify the default settings for new tasks created in this task list:
    1. If you want new tasks to display in the calendar, check the box next to Display in Calendar.
    2. If you want users to receive e-mail notification when new tasks are assigned to them, or on the date when the task is scheduled to start or end, next to Notification, check the appropriate boxes. The notification options do not display for task lists in personal projects.
  4. When you are done, click Finish.
