The Western Livestock Price Insurance Program (WLPIP) is designed to be a “one stop shop” set of risk management programs for cattle and hog producers operating in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, providing price insurance to manage risk on finished cattle, feeders, calves and hogs.
